Red Ribbon Week activities October 22-29

Red Ribbon Week is traditionally observed during the dates of October 23-31 nationwide. However, a school committee for Red Ribbon Week activites agreed the following dates would meet weekend and school schedules so all activities could be observed.

Friday, October 22 - Pleged Day...Businesses and homes hang a RED RIBBON on their door or mailbox.

Sunday, October 24 -Churches are encouraged to participate by giving our RED RIBBONS to the congregation and hanging a RED RIBBON on their door.

Monday, October 25 - Hand our RED RIBBONS to students, poster contest at school and bulletin board or door decorations at schools. Patriotic Day: Wear red, white and blue to symbolize "United We Stand Against Drugs."

Tuesday, October 26 - Too Cool for Drugs; Wear tye dyed t-shirts.
