Edith Pedigo, 84, of Pedigo Eubank Road, Gamaliel, died September 15, 2004, at the Macon Co. General Hospital in Lafayette, TN. She was born in Monroe Co. on January 8, 1920, to the late Cicero Dyer & Maggie Allen Dyer. She was a member of the New Liberty General Baptist Church, a retired homemaker, and the widow of Jim Marsh & Jackie Pedigo.

She is survived by three sons & two daughters-in-law: Carl & Dovie Marsh of Gamaliel, KY, Terry & Donna Marsh of Lafayette, TN, Teddy Marsh of Gallatin, TN; seven daughters & five sons-in-law: Dean & Wyndle Yarbrough of Carthage, TN, Barbara Jean & James Hutson of Carthage, TN, Annie Faye Pedigo of Gamaliel, KY, Joyce J. Proffitt of Glasgow, KY, Nellie & Jim Haffly of New Holland, Ohio, Wanda & Tim Kirby of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Gayle & Brett Pedigo of Evansville, IN; three brothers: Norman Dyer, Denzel Dyer, & Kenneth Dyer, all of Dayton, TN; two sisters: Ruby Meader & Oleta Iles, both of Dayton, TN; a daughter-in-law: Mary Marsh of Carthage, TN; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, Junior Marsh & Ernest Marsh; 3 brothers: Everet, Ralph, & Raymond Dyer.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Bro. Kenny Sullivan officiated. Burial was at New Liberty Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne Marsh, Jimmy Marsh, Wyndel Marsh, Matthew Pedigo, Brandon Kirby, Brad Marsh, Richard McClanahan, David Flynn, and Mitchel Bone. Honorary pallbearers were David Proffitt, Christopher Marsh, Jonathan Marsh, Ethan McClanahan, Noah McClanahan, Aidan Flynn, Nelson Slaughter, and Jill Slaughter.
