According to the report, Davis had a knife and possibly a gun and was yelling at a subject, threatening to kill him.
Officer Swindle, Officer Keith Tillman, and Detective Stacy Gann arrived on the scene and took a verbal statement from Davis of the incident. They also received a statement from Steven Davis, Lot 31; Jackie Holland, Lot 19; and Tabitha Watkins of lot 33. Each witness had the same statement. The statement was that Davis was walking up and down the road yelling and making threats. While making these threats he was waving a large knife.
Davis was reportedly threatening to kill everyone in the trailer park and rape all the kids. Davis also reportedly had a huge white sign in his yard that had several obscene words written on it. Officer Swindle reported that he did not see the sign but that several neighbors reported they had pictures.
Davis was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace. Officer Tillman asked Davis to stand up and told him he was under arrest. Davis began yelling and fighting the officers, resisting arrest. Once the officers were able to contain Davis, he was placed in the patrol car where he kicked the window of the patrol car. The window was not damaged. He was transported to the Macon County Jail where he was also charged with resisting arrest.
His bond was set at $500 with the stipulation that he was not to disturb the residence of the trailer park. He made bond.
Later that same day Officer Kevin Woodard and Officer Jason Roberts responded to a call at 1540 Wrights Trailer Park for a disturbance call.
Upon arrival they spoke with Timothy Poteet-Summers who stated that Davis had pulled a Bowie Knife on him and had allegedly said 'I will cut out your heart and dance on your soul.'
Steven Davis also reported to the officers that he had allegedly heard him threaten to burn down the trailers later that night. According to residents of the park, this is an ongoing occurrence.
Officer Woodard and Officer Roberts obtained a warrant against Davis and located him at 7:45 p.m. at Polston Ave and he was taken into custody without incident and charged with aggravated assault.
No bond was set for this charge and he remains lodged at the Macon County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions September 22, at 9 a.m.
