Funeral services for B.C. Webb, age 80, of Louisville, KY, formerly of the Webbtown Community, were conducted Thursday, July 1, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Owen Funeral Home in Louisville. Local visitation was held Thursday, July 1, 2004, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. from the chapel Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN. Interment followed in Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
B.C. Webb passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004, in Louisville.
A native of Macon County, TN, he was the son of the late Bedford, Jr. and Molly Jenkins Webb of Macon County. He married to the former Evelyn Day who survives. B.C. was a retired maintenance worker with E.I. Dupont. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Nbr. 543 in Lafayette and the Lyons Missionary Baptist Church. He served our country in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors besides his wife include daughter Joy C. Krebs; son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Laurie Webb; sisters Ruby Smith, Gladys Linville; brothers Earl and B.V. Webb; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
