Terrie Gail Taylor, 50, of Hightower Road, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004 at University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Thursday, August 20, 1953, a daughter of Peggy Morgan Hightower and the late Hilous Eugene Hightower. She attended Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church and was an employee of Gap in Gallatin, Tennessee. She was united in marriage on January 14, 2000 to Edward Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Taylor, of Hightower Road; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Lisa York Sircy, of Lafayette, TN; her mother, Peggy Hightower, of Hightower Road; a daughter-in-law, April Sircy, of Lafayette, TN; a step-son, Cliff Hines, Gallatin, TN; her grandmother, Lena Hightower, Lafayette, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Azzie Hightower, Lafayette, TN; Phillip and Teresa Hightower, Lebanon, TN; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida and Bobby Cornwell, Hartsville, TN; Monica and Bud Meador, Ooltewah, TN; three grandchildren, a step-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a son, Chris Sircy.

Funeral services for Terrie Gail Taylor were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2004 at Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church with Eld. James Ray Lawson officiating. Burial was in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Ronnie Taylor, Reggie Taylor, David Manning, David Culbert, Ken Tirjan, Sam Cornwell, Joe Cornwell, and Will Hightower. Honorary pallbearers were S.P.C. David Hightower, Michael Taylor, and "Little" Ronnie Taylor.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN was in charge of arrangements.
