He is survived by his wife, Lisa Renee Shrum; three daughters, Courtney Sue Shrum, Ashley Taylor Shrum, Kayla Ann Shrum, all of Hartsville; step-daughter, Casandra Gregory; mother, Mrs. Karen Deckard, Lafayette, TN; father, Mr. Jerry Shrum, Hermitage Springs, TN; brother, Michael Vaught, Nashville, TN; sister, Dana Felts, Portland, TN; half-sister, Jesica Andreson, Portland; grandparents, Mr. Hack and Mrs. Azzie Ray, Mrs. Madge Shrum, all of Hartsville; great-grandmother, Gladys Parker, Dixon Springs, TN; step-father, Mike Vaughn, Nashville, TN; step-grandmother, Mrs. Helen Vaughn, Gallatin.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2004, conducted by Elder Doug Curtis and Elder Marty Meador. Pallbearers were Thomas E. Eden, Greg Eden, Tommy Jones, Mike Felts, James Parker, Larry Stafford, Greg Thomas and Ricky Presley. Interment was in Green Grove Cemetery.
