MCHS seniors compete in Vanderbilt Great Eight Track & Field invitational

Two Macon County track athletes were invited to participate in Vanderbilt University's Great Eight Track Meet. Seniors Jacob Law finished 4th in the boy's shot put with 47' 5 3/4", and Jacob York finished 3rd with a time of :22.88 in the 200 meters and 6th with a time of :53.35 in the 400 meters. Both athletes hold the school record in each event.

Hosted by Vanderbilt Sports Medicine Center and Vanderbilt University Track & Field. The Best of the Best are invited to compete at Vanderbilt's Great Eight Track & Field Invitational. Area high school athletes from Nashville and surrounding area high school athletes are eligible to compete. The best eight athletes in each event go head to head at Vanderbilt's track and field stadium.
