Roy Roger Enoch, age 47, of Lebanon, slipped away from authorities while he was cleaning a courtroom at the Macon County Justice Center Thursday, April 8.

According to Chief Deputy Robin Gregory, Enoch was transferred from Wilson County in February of 2004 to serve time for a parole violation.

It is unclear how he left the building. It was reportedly discovered that he was missing within minutes of his disappearance.

Authorities are not clear as to where the subject went, but are currently investigating surrounding counties. They are speculating that the inmate had the escape planned and someone was waiting to drive him out of the county as soon as he left the premises.

The Macon County Sheriff's Department is in the process of reviewing the case and hope to have the inmate back in custody soon.

Enoch is a white male with blue eyes. He is approximately 5'8 and weighs 235 lbs. If anyone has information concerning this escapee, contact the Macon County Justice Center at 666-3325 or any local law enforcement agency.
