A tentative trial date has been set for accused murderer Gerald Wilder for September 2004. According to the Circuit Court Clerk's Office, Wilder's court date has been set for September 29 through October 1. The date is only tentative because several motions are due to be heard on May 17. The date could change pending the outcome of the motions.

Gerald Wilder is accused of stabbing his wife, Sharon Wilder, 17 times at her residence Sunday, July 13, 2003. Public Defender Comer Donnell will represent Wilder.
