Reportedly, on February 15, Deputies Jonathan Dean, Bill Cothron, and Terry Atkins, responded to a domestic call at 11063 Old Highway 52 W. During the domestic call Deputy Cothron noticed several components used to manufacture methamphetamine in the back of a vehicle allegedly belonging to Josh D. Johnson, 29, Fairfield Road, Westmoreland. Johnson was arrested and taken to the Macon County Sheriff's Department on charges of aggravated assault. While Johnson was being booked in, it was found on his person a small bag of a substance that appeared to be methamphetamine. It was later tested and found to be methamphetamine. Also found on his person were ephedra pills.
At that time Detective Gammons obtained a search warrant for the residence of 11063 Old Highway 52. The residence is that of Victoria Lynn Kittrell, age 29.
During the search, a box was found that contained several crack pipes, a nine millimeter weapon, several ephedra pills, 50 empty match boxes, one jug of muriatic acid and a bag of white powder that was later tested for methamphetamine and ephedra.
Johnson was then charged with possession of scheduled II and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $4000 and he is scheduled to appear in General Sessions court March 3, at 9 a.m.
Victoria Lynn Kittrell was charged with possession of scheduled II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond is set for $3000 and she is scheduled to appear in General Sessions March 3, at 9 a.m.
