J.C. Herald, Jr.
Mr. J.C. Herald, Jr., age 75, passed away January 18, 2004. Mr. Herald was preceded in death by his parents, James Carlton and Ethel White Herald and his brother, James Herald. He was a member of Smith Springs Church of Christ, retired housing inspector for Metro Government, a veteran of the Korean War and formerly of Macon County. Mr. Herald was a member of Claiborne Lodge, a 32 degree Mason, member of Al Menah Temple and Legion of Honor. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Edith Chandler Herald, daughter, Sally (Michael) Yraceburn of Bakersville, CA; son, William Allen (Dayna) Herald of Sacramento, CA; nieces, Debbie Harp and Kathy Young; nephew, Michael Herald.
Funeral services were conducted January 21, 2004 at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, Nolensville Road, by Bro. Tim Alexander.
