Elder David W. Brown, age 54, of Scottsville, Ky, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Warren County, Ky native was the owner and operator of Allen County Small Engines, a U.S. Army Veteran and member of New Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late T.D. Scottsville, KY, who survives.

He is survived by his wife: Janice Mathew Brown, Scottsville, KY; 1 son and daughter-in-law: Matt D. and Patty Brown, Scottsville, KY; his mother: Ruth Brown, Scottsville, KY; 2 brothers: Elder Fred M. Brown, Scottsville, KY; Donald Brown, Lafayette, TN; 3 sisters: Wanda Sampson and Patricia Bray, both of Scottsville, KY; Jenice Meador, Lafayette, TN; and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Aaron Brown.

Funeral service for Elder David W. Brown were held January 19, 2004 at New Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Bobby Hale officiating and burial was in New Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
