Glenn Edward Troutman, Sr., age 83, of Hwy. 52 E., Lafayette, TN, passed away at his residence on Jan. 1, 2004.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, 1 p.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, conducted by Bro. Jody Brown. Burial was in Fairfield Cemetery.

He was born in Anderson County, TN on May 16, 1920, a son of the late William Edward and Sarah Serene Davis Troutman. He was married to Irene Davis Troutman, who also preceded him in death. He was retired from TVA and Boilermakers Union. He was a member of Sulfur Fork Missionary Baptist Church, a WWII Navy veteran, member of Fairfield Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn (Marie) Troutman, Jr. of Gallatin and Freddie (Delilah) Troutman of Westmoreland; four daughters, Rebecca (Fred) Cothron of Lafayette, Sue (Larry) Brown of Westmoreland, Sally (Ricky) Grubbs of Adolphus, KY, Cathy (Mike) Cornwell of Westmoreland; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, James Cecil, Earl & Mack Troutman; and sisters, Ina Grant, Ruby Grant, Edith Elliott & Margaret Louise Troutman.

Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland was in charge of arrangements.
