Flu vaccine in county looks bleak

If you are still trying to get the flu vaccine in Macon County your luck has ran out. The Macon County Times contacted eight physicians offices in Lafayette, Red Boiling Springs, and Westmoreland and learned that only one office has the vaccine. However this vaccine is only to be used for those who are at higher risk of catching the flu. Only two of the offices stated they have the drug Flu Mist still available.

This may be a good time to mark your calendar for October of 2004 to get a flu shot.
