-Macon County Sheriff's Department solves case in one day

Terry Goad, Long Creek Road, reported to Detective Robin Gregory with the Macon County Sheriff's Department, Tuesday morning, September 23, that several items from his rental property on Clifty Road had been stolen.

Detective Gregory stated in an interview Tuesday afternoon of the same day that two garden tillers, a propane grill, two beds, miscellaneous clothing, and fishing rods with fishing equipment were missing from 644 Clifty Road, which is a rental home owned by Goad.

According to Detective Gregory, the investigation led authorities to suspect Stevie Sullivan at a residence on Hawkins Road. Parts of the property were recovered. Further information revealed that the remaining property was at a residence on Hauskins Hollow Road, where alleged suspect John Biggs was residing. The remaining items were recovered at this residence.

According to Detective Gregory, the case against Sullivan and Biggs will be presented to the Macon County Grand Jury in October. The investigation is ongoing.
