In the August 28 edition of the Macon County Times, Judge Witcher was reported to have been let go as the school board attorney.

According to Mike Prock, Director of School, this is in fact untrue.

Prock stated that Judge Witcher contacted him in June of 2003 and stated that his case load was full and he would like it if the school board looked for someone else.

At the recommendation of Judge Witcher, Andrew Stafford was hired as the new school board attorney.

We are sorry for this error and are happy to correct it.
