Shoulders, Wells win Club Championships

Josh Shoulders won the Championship Flight in the Men's Division and Tonya Wells claimed the Women's Title during the recent Macon County Country Club Golf Championships.

Shoulders shot a 71 on the first day and a 64 on the second day for a two day total of 135 in the Championship Flight. Second place in this division went to Rick Shoulders, who shot a 68 on Saturday and a 71 on Sunday for a combined score of 139.

Mike Wells finished in 1st place in the 1st Flight with a two day total of 147, shooting a 74 on Saturday and a 73 on Sunday. Nick Howser took 2nd place in this division with a 77 on Saturday and a 71 on Sunday for a two day total of 148.

Cameron Smith finished the tournament in 1st place in the 2nd Flight. Smith shot an 82 on Saturday, and a 76 on Sunday for a two day total of 158.

Grant Malo finished the division in 2nd place with an 87 on Saturday and a 73 on Sunday for a two day total of 160.

In the NET division, Kent Smith claimed top honors with a 64 on Saturday and a 63 on Sunday for a two day total of 127.

In the Ladies Championship Flight, Tonya Wells finished in 1st place with a two day total of 172, shooting an 82 on Saturday and a 90 on Sunday.

Lisa Chitwood took 2nd place in the division, with an 85 on Saturday and a 92 on Sunday for a two day total of 177.

In the First Flight, Phylis Key finished the event in 1st place shooting a 100 on the first day and a 104 on the second day for a two day total of 204.

Second place in this division went to Mazell Driver who finished the tournament with a 110 on Saturday and a 100 on Sunday for a two day combined total of 210.
