Funeral services for Steven "Bucky" Francis, age 37, of Lafayette, TN, were conducted Monday, July 7, 2003, 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Elder Dewayne Gregory officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Chandler, Lannie Kelley, Travis Kelley, Bobby Beasley, Danny Keith, Stacey Woodard, Michael Veatch, Gene Beasley and Brett Minchey. Active pallbearers were Mickey Harp, Scot Harp, Blake Francis, Vance Francis, Stan Francis and Mark Gammons. Interment was in Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Steven "Bucky" Francis passed away July 4, 2003, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident.

A native of Lawrence County, TN, he was the son of Fran Francis and the late Earl Eugene Francis. He was married to Donna Harp Francis on Oct. 16, 1992, who survives. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Danny Earl Francis. Steven was a Correction Officer for the Macon County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors besides his wife and mother include a son, Daniel Gene Francis; brothers, Stan (Marilyn) Francis, Vance Francis; father and mother-in-law, Oval and Mai Dell Harp; brothers-in-law, Mickey (Jane) Harp and Scot Harp, all of Lafayette.
