The adult soccer games were such a success this past spring that the Macon County Soccer League decided to try it again.

A number of participants in the spring have spoken to some board members asking about the possibility of continuing games throughout the summer.

The Macon County Soccer League will sponsor the Recreational League, with games scheduled to begin this Saturday, June 21. The start time for games will be announced next week.

When the games begin, all participants need to remember to bring shin guards. All players must have shin guards before they will be allowed to play.

Teams will be divided up each week from the interested individuals who show up.

There is no cost for the adults to join in the fun, however, donations will be accepted, with the money going to help cover the cost of referees for the game.

All players need to be aware that they are participating in the league of their own will and at their own risk. The Macon County Soccer League WILL NOT be responsible for any accidents or injuries that night occur.

For more information, contact Barry King at 666-5740 or Lloyd Schroeter at 666-6033.
