Lovis Howard Tucker, 77, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2003 at his residence in Sarasota.

The Macon County, TN native was a son of the late T.T. Tucker and Ethie Price Tucker and was a clothing salesman and former manager of Martin's, a women's clothing store in Bowling Green, KY, where he lived for several years.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Weldon and Maria Carola Tucker, Suffolk, England; a daughter, April Elizabeth Tucker, Mesa, Arizona; and one granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Dewey, Otto, Jim, Carl, Tom, Kermit, and Warren Tucker.

Funeral services for Lovis Howard Tucker will be held Saturday, March 8, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Elder Thomas Earl Roark officiating. Burial will be in Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Tucker, Jimmy Follin, Joe Stafford, Larry Tucker, George Tucker, Tom Tucker, and B.J. Follin.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette is in charge of arrangements.
