A statement was given by the owner, Wayne Newberry, when he reported for work Friday morning, January 31, at approximately 4:30 a.m., to RBS Police Chief Terry Tuck.
The front glass of the door had been broken out to gain entrance to the building.
A Sharp cash register was reported missing that contained a small amount of change and some personal items belonging to Newberry.
Chief Tuck's report states that at approximately 11 a.m. the RBSPD received a call from Jackson County Police.
Jackson County stated that through a routine traffic stop they had taken into custody three juveniles believing to have been involved in the break in at the Gas Hut.
Chief Tuck and Assistant Chief Steve Evans traveled to Overton County to interview the three individuals involved. The juveniles admitted their alleged involvement with the burglary in RBS.
The suspects also admitted to one burglary in Clay County and three burglaries in Overton County.
The juveniles, from Dunlap, Tennessee are age 16 and 17.
Charges are pending against the juveniles by the Red Boiling Springs Police Department.
