The Lafayette Quarterback Club will have its first regular meeting of the year this Thurs-day, January 9, at 6:00 p.m. at Macon County High School. This meeting will also be held for the election of officers for the upcoming season. These officers will help in organizing all fundraisers and events that will be used to help support the Tigers football program. How-ever, along with these officers, the club also needs support from anyone and everyone that has an interest in the Macon County Tigers team and program and that wants to see them prosper and continue to be able to improve. This includes both the high school team and the junior high team as the quarterback club helps support both of these organizations.

For the last few year there have only been a few members that stay active throughout the year and for this club to get stronger, it needs more members that not only just show up once or twice a year for the meetings, but they need to be able to help with the various event that are planned during the year. This club is set up to be a support organization only and to be able to provide different items and services for the team that otherwise they would not be able to have. The coaches are consulted to see what is needed most and then if possible, these things are provided.

If you have a child in either the high school program or the junior high program, we need you to show up at this meeting Thursday and then we need you throughout the remainder of the year for any ideas and input that you may have that will improve our club. This will be the only way that we can become the best quarterback club that can be found anywhere throughout the area.
