Larry B. Shrum, 67, of Highway 52 West, Lafayette, TN, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The Macon County, TN native was born Monday, April 1, 1935, a son of the late Herlie Shrum and Olline Shrum. He was a former resident of Indianapolis, IN where he retired from Strohm Warehouse in 1989. He was a member of Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church, and was married to Juanita Parrish Shrum on June 22, 1955.

Funeral services for Larry B. Shrum were conducted Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Elder Guthrie Thompson and Rev. Jim Keown officiating. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Larry Wilson, Ronnie Shrum, Barry Miller, Anthony Hale, Steve Parrish, and Robert Walden.

He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Juanita Parrish Shrum of Lafayette; two sons and daughter-in-law, Keith N. and Sandy Shrum, Mt. Juliet, TN; and Kenneth A. Shrum, Fishers, IN; three grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, Hollis and Wanda Shrum, and Lynn Shrum, all of Lafayette.
