On Tuesday night, MCHS traveled to Springfield for a district game. The Tigerettes jumped out to an early lead, going up 16 - 14 at the end of the first quarter and extending the lead to 38 - 22 by the half.
The Tigerettes kept extending their lead from their, before winning the game by 20, with a final of 68 - 48.
It was a night for Senior Tigerettes Carrie Oldham with 25 points and 9 rebounds.
Also putting points on the scoreboard for MCHS were Jody West with 9, Jocosa Scott with 9, Trisha Carver with 8, Whitney Thomas with 8, and Heather Moore with 3.
In addition to Oldham's 9 rebounds, Trisha Carver had 8 and Jocosa Scott managed 7.
Heather Moore led the team in steals with 5, followed by Trisha Carver with 3 and Jocosa Scott with 3.
On Friday night, the Tigerettes returned home to host a Portland team.
By the end of the first quarter, MCHS had doubled Portland's score, going up 12 - 6.
At the end of the game, MCHS had managed to take complete control of the game and won it hands down with a final of 53 - 24.
Heather Moore stepped up and led the Tigerettes in scoring in the game, putting 20 points on the scoreboard.
Also putting double digits up was Carrie Oldham with 11 points.
Other Tigerettes tossing in points included Jocosa Scott with 7, Courtney Thomas with 7, PeeWee Troutt with 4 and Whitney Thomas with 1.
Trisha Carve led the team inn rebound, grabbing 9. Jody West had 7 rebounds in the game and Carrie Oldham and Heather Moore each had 6.
Jody West and Trisha Carve led the team in assists with 4 each.
Heather Moore also led the team in steals with 5, followed by Trisha Carver with 2 and Carrie Oldham with 1.
