Funeral services for Beatrice McClanhan, age 89, of Westmoreland, formerly of the Galen Rd. Community in Macon County, Tn. were conducted December 11, 2002 from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tn. with Elder Junior Farley officiating. Her grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Beatrice passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2002 at the University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tn.

A native of Macon County, Tn., she was the daughter of the late Ammon and Maggie Givens Huffines. She was married to Robert Otis McClanhan, who preceded her in death on March 16, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Ruby Hubbard and Jewell Perry, son, Hildred Stubblefield, sister, Margaret Gann Breitt, brothers, S.B., Pete, Malcolm and Bess Huggiens and half-brothers, Ottie and Clester Huffines. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Ray (Margaret) Stubblefield, White House, Tn., Charles Edward Stubblefield, Detroit, Mi., sisters, Grace Bransford, Lafayette, Tn., Elsie Simmons, Delsie Knight and Polly Jordan all of Lebanon, Tn., brothers, Charles Edward Huffines, Knoxville, Tn., Robert L. Huffines, Hartsville, Tn., 28 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Devoted friends, Franklin & Marilyn Watson, Westmore-land, TN.
