Macon County Junior High School began their season on November 4 against Hermitage Springs.
After scoring the first two points of the game, the Hermitage Springs Wildcats couldn't score again. MCJHS went on to win the game 42-2.
The next game for MCJHS was in the Tip-off Classic in Red Boiling Springs against Rickman. After trailing by 11 in the first half, the Tigers battled back to pull within 4 in the second half. That was as close as they could get as Rickman went on to win the game 34-30.
With the loss to Rickman, this put the MCJHS Tigers against a very familiar opponent on November 9 - the MCJHS 7th grade team.
The 7th graders kept it close early, but the 8th grade team prevailed in the end 39 -18.
