Fred Shockley, 90, of 2086 Scottsville Road, Lafayette, TN, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2002 at Westmoreland Care & Rehab in Westmoreland, TN. The Allen Co., KY native was born October 30, 1912, a son of the late Les Shockley and Delia Stinson Shockley. He was a retired farmer, a member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Allen Co. where he was a deacon, and was married to Olene Brawner Shockley, who preceded him in death Feb. 28, 1999.

He is survived by two sisters, Ruby Watson, Lafayette, and Gertrude Harper, Red Hill Community in Allen Co.; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services for Fred Shockley were held Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Joe Tom Stinson and Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.
