Bulldogs Claim 4th in RBS Tip-off Classic
The Red Boiling Springs Junior Bulldogs finished the 25th Annual RBS Tip-off Classic in 4th place last Saturday night.
The second game in the tournament for RBSJHS in the tournament was played on Tuesday night against Hermitage Springs. RBSJHS won this game by a final of 44-10.
Dustin Dozier led the Junior Bulldogs in the game with 17 points.
Other Junior Bulldogs putting points on the scoreboard were Nick Mason with 2, Ben Gentry with 6, Trey Leonard with 4, Tyson Jenkins with 8, Logan Tuck with 2, Jordan Phillips with 2, Nathan Tucker with 1, and Chaz Tucker with 2.
Trey Leonard led the team in rebounds with 8, followed by Dustin Dozier with 5, and Darren Hussey with 4.
Ben Gentry led the team in take aways with 5 steals in the game. Tyson Jenkins had 4 steals in the game and Nick Mason had 3 steals in the game.
Mason and Gentry each had 4 assists in the game to help the Junior Bulldogs.
This win moved the RBSJSH Bulldogs record to 2-2 on the season.
The second game in the tournament for RBSJHS saw them drop a game to Allons by a final of 40 - 26.
Dustin Dozier led the Junior Bulldogs in the game with 8 points. Ben Gentry also managed 8 points in the game.
Other Junior Bulldogs putting points on the scoreboard were Nick Mason with 5, Tyson Jenkins with 3, and Darren Hussey with 2.
Dustin Dozier led the team in rebounds, grabbing 10, followed by Tyson Jenkins and Trey Leonard with 6 each.
Tyson Jenkins led the team in steals with 6 in the game.
Nick Mason led the Junior Bulldogs in assists with 2 in the game.
This loss moved the RBSJSH Bulldogs record to 2-3 on the season.
The loss in round 2 of the tournament, forced RBSJHS into the consolation round game against Celina.
RBSJHS played strong throughout the game, but were unable to make yup the deficit. Celina won this game to claim 3rd place by a final of 33 - 37.

Hussey led the team in rebounds, with 6 in the game, followed by Dozier with 5 and Jenkins with 3.
Nick Mason led the team in steals with 5 in the game. Jenkins managed 2 steals in the game.
Nick Mason led the Junior Bulldogs in assists with 4 in the game. Jenkins also had 2 assists in the game.
This loss gave the RBSJHS 4th place in the tournament and moved their record to 2-4.
Two Bulldogs were named to the All Tournament team - Dustin Dozier and Tyson Jenkins.
