The Red Boiling Springs Junior Lady Bulldogs finished the 25th Annual RBS Tip-off Classic in 2nd place last Saturday night.
Their first game in the tournament was played on Tuesday night against Allons. RBSJHS won this game by a final of 50-20.
Two Junior Lady Dawgs scored in double digits. Kendra Hudson put 16 points on the scoreboard and Caylie Dickens added 12 points.
Other Junior Lady Dawgs to score in the opening round tournament game included Kelly Rich with 5, Amber Claywell with 2, Rachel Painter with 3, Samantha Brockett with 4, Ellie Boles with 3, Ashton Gentry with 1, and Tess Copas with 4.
Hudson led the team in rebounds, grabbing 6. Painter, Claywell and Brockett were each credited with grabbing 3 rebounds in the game.
Kelly Rich followed the ball everywhere during the game. Rich managed 12 steals in the game help give RBSJHS the advantage. Dickens had 4 steals in the game.
Painter has 10 assists in the game, with Claywell credited with 3.
This win moves the RBSJHS Lady Dawgs record to 4-0 as they headed into the second round of the RBS Tip-off Classic.
This game pitted the RBSJHS Lady Dawgs against Westmoreland. RBSJHS won this game by a final of 31-20.

The Championship game in the tournament was played on Saturday night against Rickman. Despite a strong effort from RBSJHS, Rickman claimed the championship with a final of 32 - 26.
Caylie Dickens was the only Lady Dawg to score in double digits with 12 points.
Also putting points on the scoreboard for RBSJSH were Amber Claywell with 7, Kendra Hudson with 5, and Rachel Painter with 2.
Dickens led the team in rebounds, grabbing 8. Hudson had 7 rebounds in the game, with Painter and Brockett each grabbing 4.
Kelly Rich and Kendra Hudson each had 2 steals in the game.
Painter led the team in assists with 3.
Four Junior Lady Bulldogs were named to the All-Tournament team - Kelly Rich, Rachel Painter, Caylie Dickens and Kendra Hudson.
