A forged check in the amount of $41.41 was passed at the Texaco Star Mart in Red Boiling Springs Wednesday, October 23, according to RBS Chief of Police Terry Tuck.

The report from Chief Tuck states that the manager of Star Mart contacted the RBSPD requesting an officer to investigate a possible case of forgery.

Chief Tuck contacted the owner of the checking account and she stated that several checks had been stolen from her vehicle recently and she had reported the theft to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.

This case is still under investigation by RBSP Chief Terry Tuck and Assistant Chief Steve Evans.

If you have information about this crime or any other crime call the RBS Police Hotline at 699-TIPS (8477).
