The Macon County, TN native was born August 4, 1922, a daughter of the late Leo Bandy and Phoebe Knight Bandy. She was a member of Lafayette Church of Christ and a retired bookkeeper and office manager for North Central Telephone Cooperative, and a former employee of Cordell Hull E.O.C.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Alesia Meador; a brother, Ray Bandy, all of Lafayette; several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Leo Bandy, Jr., Lewis Bandy, and John Bandy; and three sisters, Roxie Tucker, Georgie Gober and Ruby Bandy.
Funeral services for Nola Meador were conducted Saturday, October 5, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Ewing Russell officiating. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were George Tucker, Larry Tucker, Perry Kirby, Jr., Joe Stafford, Fred Cartwright, and James Merryman.
