Lady Dawgs finish regular season with 16-6 record

The Red Boiling Springs Lady Dawgs ended the regular season by hosting Westmoreland for a double header.

In the second inning, RBSHS had the bases loaded when Krystal Morgan came up to the plate. She hit into a triple play. The ball she hit was caught, and the runners on first and second were forced out.

In the third, the bases were loaded again when Ashley Porter came to the plate and Westmoreland put her on base with a walk, scoring Brooke Deckard.

Leveda Birdwell hit a ground ball and knocked in another run as Janelyn West scored to make to 2-0, Lady Dawgs favor.

The RBSHS Lady Dawgs kept pouring it on and had a 6-0 lead going into the 5th inning. That's when Westmoreland attempted a come back. As they scored 5 runs and fell short as RBS won 6-5.

The Lady Dawgs also won the second game. This one the Lady Dawgs claimed by a score of 8-4.

The Lady Dawgs ended the regular season 16-6 overall and move on to play in the district tournament this week.
