An auto theft was reported to Assistant Chief Steve Evans of the Red Boiling Springs Police Department on April 4.

According to the report, Kathy Kendall, Spring Hill Road, RBS, stated that her '91 Chevy S-10 pickup had been stolen from her residence around 11a.m.

With help from other members of the RBSPD, Assistant Chief Evans located the vehicle at the Red Boiling Springs Ball park on the same day of the theft. A family member of Kendall's was reported to have been in the vehicle along with another adult.

Police Chief Terry Tuck said, "No charges are being filed at this time. Assistant Chief Evans is still investigating the case. We could still make an arrest."
