Evelyn Hudson Jackson, age 82, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Friday afternoon, November 26, 2010 at The Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville. Funeral Services for Evelyn Hudson Jackson were conducted Monday afternoon, November 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Jack Honeycutt and Rob Whitacre officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. Her family and friends served as pallbearers.

Evelyn was born Friday, November 26, 2010 in Macon County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Baxter and Audie Lena Whitley Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Cook, Mary Jones, Mildred Hudson and Bobbie Ann Hackett. On October 3, 1946, she married Felix Jackson, who survives. Evelyn was an Inspector for the former Stitches in Red Boiling Springs with 10 years of service and Formfit Rogers in Lafayette with 28 years of service. She was also a member of the Willette Church of Christ.

Survivors besides her husband Felix of 64 years include: daughter & son-in-law, Gail & William Smith all of Red Boiling Springs, granddaughter, April (Tim) Birdwell, Westmoreland, grandsons, Bill Smith, Jonathan (Elizabeth) Smith all of Red Boiling Springs, great-grandchildren, Presley & Nacona Birdwell, sister & brother-in-law, Peggy & Ray Chambers, Nashville, TN.
