On Tuesday, January 17th, the Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs traveled to Trousdale County to face off with the Yellow Jackets.
Cayley Tuck lead the Bulldogs in points scored on Tuesday night. Tuck had eight two-point shots and two free throws for a total of eighteen points during the game. Katie Heady had four three-point shots and was two for two in free throws for a total of fourteen points.
Kennedy Fleming racked up seven points for the Lady Dawgs, coming from a two, a three, and two free throws. Hayley Davis put four points on the board. Davis had a three-point shot and a free throw. Maggie Isenberg had a three for the team.
In a close game, the Bulldogs triumphed over the Yellow Jackets, 46 to 43.
That Thursday, January 19th, saw the girls travel to play Jo Byrns in Cedar Hill.
Heady lead in points during this game. She had one two-point shot and five threes. Tuck put fifteen points on the board, from four two-point shots and seven free throws. Davis scored two two-point shots, two three-point shots, and a free throw for a total of eleven points.
Shaylee Ellingson had seven points for the Lady Dawgs, coming from two two-point shots and a free throw. Isenberg had two threes, bringing in six points. Briley Morgan had a three. Fleming, Liz Anderson, and Macy Raines each scored two points for the Lady Dawgs. Fleming and Raines each scored a two, and Anderson had two free throws.
The Lady Dawgs defeated Jo Byrns, 65 to 28.
