Red Boiling Springs to receive $600 a day until new fire hall is completed

The Red Boiling Springs City Council met in regular session on September 11, 2014. Mayor Willie Brown conducted the meeting. Legal representative for the council Christi Dalton, Secretary Coby Knight, Vice Mayor Tom Fultz and council members Terry Newberry, George McCrary and Joe Hill were present. Councilmen Billy Joe Carver and Steve Newberry were absent.

 

RBS HS volleyball updates

Red Boiling Springs High School opened its volleyball season against Merroll Hyde on August 21st. They play three games a week, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and they play to win. “Most of my team graduated last year,” Head Coach Chad Butler said, “so this year we’re rebuilding. Red Boiling Springs Jr. High Volleyball hit its stride last week. The Varsity won two out of three games. The Jr. Varsity won three out of three. They played a home game against Gordonsville on September 8th. The Varsity played first, winning 25-22 and 25-18. The Jr. Varsity followed with a 25-18 and 25-20 victory.
