The Macon County Senior Citizens Center thanks NCTC for kicking off its Sustaining Sponsorship drive. Through NCTC s generous donation, the center is able to provide the many needed services and programs that are designed to help maintain active and healthy lifestyles for the senior citizens of Macon County. The guest speaker at the Aug. 18th meeting of the Lafayette Rotary Club was Jerry Cherry. Cherry, who has over 20 years in aviation, has been recently put in charge of the Lafayette Airport. He explained the changes at the airport that have taken place and his plans to develope it, linking the aviation community with Lafayette businesses. Flight lessons are now available. Russell Brown was the program chairman of this meeting.
