The speaker at last week’s Rotary Club meeting was Alan Johnston, Director for the Rotary District 6780 CART program. CART, (Coins for Alzheimers Research Trust) was started by the Sumter, SC Rotary Club in 1995 in order to help fund research to find a cure for the dread disease, and has since raised over 3 million dollars for the cause.
