A Macon woman was transported from the scene by EMS after her home burned completely to the ground on Wednesday morning of last week. The home, which was at 163 Glassgow Lane in the Northwest part of the county near Rocky Mound, is a total loss, said South Allen Fire Chief Joe Young. Four Macon County residents were killed in a house fire on Cave Hollow Road Sunday night. Robert and Barbara Solomon and Barbara’s sister Alice Crockarell were all residents of the home that burned.
