Promote those children, enter our Cutest Kids Contest

If you’ve got them, flaunt them. If you know them, promote them, with parental permission of course, and if you want to see them win, voting begins on Father’s Day, June 3.

We’re talking about children, from birth to age 12, all who are eligible to be the Macon County Times Cutest Kid.

There are plenty of them in our area, that’s for sure, and no doubt parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, along with just about anyone else who knows a youngster, will want to enter them in the newspaper’s newest online contest, which went live on Mother’s Day.

The Cutest Kids is a fun competition that allows us and you, both our print readers and our online visitors, an opportunity to promote children.

The contest is sponsored by Tri-County Electric Cooperative, who has offered up a $250 prize for the winner.

All one has to do to enter is visit www.maconcountytimes.com, click on the Cutest Kids logo and follow the simple directions to first upload photos, and later to cast votes.

And, naturally, watch the paper — the website and Facebook — to see who’s entered, and, once voting begins, who’s leading the pack. There will be surprises along the way, just a little something to pique your interest and, again, to promote all the youngsters we hope will be entered in the contest.

Everyone can enter. All you really need is an email address. Everything about the contest is free, including the fun you’ll have uploading pictures and watching the progress as the contest grows, and all those adorable pictures begin popping up on the website and in the newspaper.

What’s not to love? After all, it’s those smiles, those bright eyes, those adorable grins and those gorgeous faces that make the little darlins so irresistible in the first place.

Who’s got the cutest kids? We don’t know yet, but they just might be yours.
