Learning Steps Preschool held its annual Dr. Seuss Day on Wednesday, February 27. The program is a part of Read Across America, and occurs every year near Dr. Seuss’s birthday, which is March 2.
The preschool’s six teachers and 52 children all dressed crazy to celebrate the day, and Nikki Hogan was on hand to do special Dr. Seuss readings.
Learning Steps is a private preschool that meets 9 months a year in Lafayette United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall. Reba Bellar has been director there since its inception in 1986.
