The MCHS Alumni Association hosted its annual banquet on Saturday, June 16. The classes of the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, ’60, ’62, ’67, ’72, ’77, ’82 and ’87 were honored especially at the event.

“It’s a wonderful turnout tonight,” said Association President Sarah Roark, who welcomed attendees and led the Recognition of Teachers. H.L. “Doc” Goodall gave the invocation before a hot meal catered by Linda’s Cakes. Larry Tucker, Assistant Football Coach in the year 1956, gave the speech of the evening, and then the 1956 MCHS CVC Champion Football Team was recognized.

The association is tentatively planning next year’s banquet for June 15, 2013. All visionaries and volunteers are welcome to assist. All alumni of MCHS of any age are invited to attend the yearly banquet.
