The Red Boiling Springs 5th and 6th grade basketball teams continued their season traveling to Trousdale County on November 24. The Bulldogs took on the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets for the second time this season. The scoring summary for both games was as follows:
Scoring summary in girls play:
In girls play the RBS Lady Bulldogs started out strong stopping the defense and outscoring the Yellow Jackets by 11 points. By the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs’ strong first quarter offense seemed to have come to a halt with the team only scoring two points to the Jackets zero points. After the half, the Lady Bulldogs repeated the second quarter with only scoring 2 points again. However their opponents scored 4 making the score at the end of the third quarter the RBS Lady Bulldogs 15 and the Lady Jackets 4. The fourth quarter was slow for both teams with the Lady Bulldogs not scoring any points while the Lady Jackets scored two. The game ended with the Lady Bulldogs on top of the Lady Jackets.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was #44 Keelan Arnett with 2, #13 Haley Davis with 3, #21 Chloe Cramer with 2, and high scorer was #00 Kennedy Fleming with 8 points.

Before going into this game, the Bulldogs were off to a bad start. The Bulldog team had a small bench to begin the game. The Bulldogs had four players absent from the game. The Bulldogs knew they had their work cut out for them. The Bulldogs gave their all, unfortunately, with four players out and a total over 30 turnovers, it wasn’t enough.

Individual scoring for the Bulldogs was #15 Hunter Kirk with a total of 7 points, #11 Mason Hix with 2, and #23 Tyler Humes with 4.
With the close of these games, the Lady Bulldogs record stands at 2 win and 3 loses while the Bulldogs record stands at 0 wins and 5 loses. The RBS 5th and 6th grade Bulldogs have a small break until their next game. Their next game is a home game. They will host the Tigers of Macon County on Saturday, December 15.
