To the Editor:
Another election has come and gone and needless to say I hope everyone prays for our children and our country. I would also like to thank Macon County for having early voting and being open on Saturdays during early voting.
I understand there were some who did not get the information of when the polls were open and that they did not open until 9:00 AM on election day. I, however, thought the word was spread very well. It was on the radio, in the papers, on fliers and word of mouth.
Maybe someone who can not get to the polls between 9 and 7 on Election Day may want to consider early voting, absentee voting, or Saturday voting.
Oh, and yes, Macon County did follow voter laws for Tennessee.
