Jessy Louise Yancey and Ty William Herrmann of East Nashville exchanged vows on Oct. 22 in Chattanooga. The Reverend David W. Yancey officiated.

Jessy Yancey is a 2002 graduate of Red Boiling Springs High School and received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University in 2006. She works as an editor for Tennessee Home & Farm and other magazines at Journal Communications in Franklin, Tenn.

She is the daughter of Sally and Steven Yancey of Pleasant Shade.

Ty Herrmann is a 2000 graduate of McCallie School. He received a bachelor's degree in recording industry management from Middle Tennessee State University in 2004 and works as an audio engineer for Full Circle Audio in Nashville.

The groom is the son of Susan and Ray Herrmann of Chattanooga.

After a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii, the couple will make their home in East Nashville.
