Jeffery Lee Tome Jr. was injured Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock when he lost control of the 1993 Jeep Red Cherokee he was driving.
According to a Traffic Crash Report by THP Trooper Danny Fisher, Tome was traveling north on State Route 10. As the vehicle was negotiating a curve, Tome lost control on the wet roadway and went into a spin. The vehicle crossed the roadway and struck a rock embankment rear-end first. At contact with the bluff, the vehicle flipped once back onto the road and came to rest on its top in the north bound lane.
Tome was injured and transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting Trooper Fisher in the investigation were Macon County Sheriff's Office Deputies Michael Veatch and Mark Bartley.
Charges are pending, according the report.
Traffic flow was back to normal by 3:45 p.m. Officers from the Lafayette Police Department had been holding back traffic heading that way from the four-way stop at 10 and 52, as first reported at maconcountytimes.com.
