The Heartbeat Haven Pregnancy Center in Lafayette held a Volunteer Appreciation Reception on Saturday, honoring volunteers who served between February 2010 and February 2013. Senator Mae Beavers, State Representative Kelly Keisling and State Representative Terri Lynn Weaver gave speeches honoring the volunteers, and they all were presented certificates.
Beavers read a proclamation from the TN State Senate, recognizing the efforts of the center at preserving the lives of unborn and ministering to mothers in need. “Whereas, believing that humanity is carefully created in the image of God and that each one possesses this inherent dignity and indelible passion of His love,” the proclamation read, “Heartbeat Haven Pregnancy Resource Center partners with Christ-centered, life-affirming churches in Middle Tennessee to serve, cherish and protect mothers and their babies, born and unborn…”
