The Duck Race is the organization's largest fund raiser, and this year they raised a little over $2,000.
The Lions Club uses the money raised for the event to fund their charitable projects in Red Boiling Springs.
In addition to this year's race, there was also a quilt show and an antique tractor show.
"I appreciate everything that everybody did, especially the local merchants and the people who participated," said RBS Lions Club member Glenda Cohen. "If it wasn't for them, we would be able to do anything. We want to thank everyone for their participation."
Each year, $100 is awarded to the person whose duck finishes first, and $50 is awarded to the sponsor of the "lame duck" or the duck that finishes last. This year, the $100 was awarded to Leslie Davis, and the $50 was awarded to Troy Johns.
