Lafayette Police Chief Stacy Gann, Lt. Clint Hestand and Officer Jeff Hix all spoke at last week’s Rotary Club meeting on the different techniques used in the county for manufacturing methamphetamine. The talk was intended to better educate Rotarians on what to look out for, and what the police force is doing to combat the growing problem of meth use and manufacture in the city.

The Rotary club is a service organization devoted to various projects supporting the community-at-large, including Makin’ Macon Fit, the Macon County 3rd Graders Dictionary Initiative, Boy Scouts, the Macon County High School Interact Club and the Junior High Interact Club, as well as scholarships. For more information on your local club you can call president Barry Doss at 615-633-7490.
