This past Saturday in Scottsville, KY, the 18th annual Patriot Bowl was played as teams from TN and KY participated in it. Both the 9 & 10 year old tournament and 6th grade tournament were played that day. For the 9’s & 10’s, the 1st game had them facing off against Westmoreland. Macon Co. won this game 28-0. Stats for the game included Jason Sewell with 8 tackles, 45 yards and one touchdown; Bailey Law had 62 yards and 2 TD’s; Cayden Shrum had 89 yards, 1 TD & 1 point conversion. Homer Tirjan had 32 yards; Taylor Carman had 15 yards; Cole Carnahan had two extra points; Aaron Colter had 2 tackles and an extra point and Austin Shelton and Hunter Crowson had 6 tackles each.

Their second game had Macon Co. over Allen Co. 39-0. Aaron Colter had two tackles, 55 and a TD, Tanner Cleary had an extra point; Jason Sewell had 5 tackles; Bailey Law had 22 yards, 1 TD and a 2-point conversion; Cole Carnahan had 17 yards and a 2-point conversion; Cayden Shrum had 24 yards and a TD; Austin Shelton had 37 yards and a TD; Homer Tirjan had a punt return for a touchdown; Taylor Carman had a 2-point conversion; Riley Phillips had a 2-point reception and Landon Wix had 5 tackles and a sack.
